Hot Leg song featured on Channel 4 Advert

UK Television channel Channel 4/E4 are using 'Cocktails' by Hot Leg (Justin Hawkins' former band) on their advert for upcoming shows 'Big Bang Theory' and '2 Broke Girls'. Clips of the song are used and no vocals in the brief advert.

Ginger Wildheart to Support The Darkness on UK/Europe Tour

Ginger from the band The Wildhearts will be supporting The Darkness with his solo band, on their UK and Europe tour dates in March 2013.

The Wildhearts supported The Darkness in 2003/4 and Ginger is a close friend of the band.

Ginger tweeted the following earlier today:

Joyous news abounds & keeps-a-comin'. I, along with my wonderful solo band, will be supporting The Darkness on their March UK and Euro tour.

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts support The Darkness in Australia?

From Contact Music:

"The first wave of tour announcement sees the band kicking off the New Year in North America, before venturing back to the UK and Europe for February/March.

An April 2013 revisit to Australia (where they will be joined by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts for the tour), also sees the band returning to New Zealand for the first time since the Big Day Out festival in 2004."

The Darkness World Tour Dates 2013 - more news

Further to the announcement that The Darkness are planning a World Tour in 2013, a poster had been released featuring an outline of where they will be playing in what months, from the Official Facebook Page.

It seems they will be touring the UK in March, and also Europe in February/March. There are also dates in Australia and New Zealand in April as well as USA dates at the start of the year.
