Legging It Out Of The DarknessIF things had gone as planned, Justin Hawkins could have been a graduate from the University of Derby by now.
But the former Darkness frontman failed the audition for a popular music course a few years ago and the rest, as they say, is history.
Within weeks, Justin obtained a publishing deal for his music in London and he was on his way to a headline-grabbing career.
Justin revealed his close brush with Derby academia as he prepared for his return to the city on Monday, refreshed and renewed, with his new band Hot Leg.
