Meat Loaf's 11th studio album released 19th April 2010, based on a story about a fictional soldier, Justin Hawkins provided backing vocals on some tracks and co-wrote two featured songs. The songs crediting Justin, as detailed in the sleeve notes are:

Track 3: Los Angeloser, written by James Michael - Backing vocals by Justin Hawkins, Randy Flowers, James Michael, Patti Russo and Kasim Sulton.

Track 5: Love Is Not Real/ Next Time You Stab Me In The Back, written by Justin Hawkins, Eric Nally, Meat Loaf Aday, Rob Cavallo - Backing vocals by Justin Hawkins with Guitars from Brian May, Steve Vai, Rob Cavallo and '3rd verse RNB guitar' by Adam Ahuja.

Track 9: California Isn't Big Enough (Hey There Girl), written by Justin Hawkins and Eric Nally - Backing vocals by Eric Dover, Jaime Neely, Julian Raymond and Eric Skodus.

Track 10: Running Away From Me, written by Jon Foreman - Backing vocals by Justin Hawkins, Marcus Blake, CC Coletti, Randy Flowers, Georgia Haege, Patti Russo, Kasim Sulton and Jim Wilson.

Adam Lambert - For Your EntertainmentMusic Again: Adam Lambert - 'For Your Entertainment'

The opening track on the American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert's debut album, was written by Justin Hawkins, on which he also played the guitar parts. The album, produced by Rob Cavallo, was released on the 23rd November 2009.

"The opening track on the forthcoming Adam Lambert album 'For Your Entertainment' is a song that I wrote in January 2009 entitled 'Music Again'.

Rob Cavallo produced Adam's version, which I played guitar on. I've been working with Rob on other exciting projects this year, including Meat Loaf and Foxy Shazam." - Justin Hawkins, Myspace blog November 2009.

Steel Panther - Feel The SteelParty All Day: Steel Panther - 'Feel The Steel'

Justin Hawkins supplied guest vocals on Hair Metal parodic LA hair metal band's (formerly known as Danger Kitty, Metal Shop and Metal Skool) album. The track 'Party All Day (F**k All Night)' features backing vocals and a verse by Justin.

The album also features guest vocals from Corey Taylor (Slipknot), M Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold), Scott Ian (anthrax) and Allison Robertson (The Donnas).

Justin has appeared on stage with Steel Panther a few times, and also at the band's first headline UK show in London, June 2009.

Saving Aimee - We're The Good GuysProducer: Saving Aimee- 'We're The Good Guys''

Justin Hawkins produced young Pop/Rock act Saving Aimee's debut album 'We're The Good Guys' and also provided guest vocals on the track 'Hold On', which was released in October 2009, but was in production from 2008.

Saving Aimee Supported Hot Leg on both the headline tours in 2008.

Hawkins & BrownThey Don't Make 'Em Like They Used To: Hawkins & Brown Eurovision Entry

In 2007 Justin Hawkins teamed up with singer Beverlei Brown to be in with a chance of representing the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest. 'They Don't Make 'Em Like They Used To' is written by Justin and was performed on 'Making Your Mind Up' - The show where people voted to choose which song should go on to represent the UK. Unfortunately, Hawkins & Brown didn't make it through to the Eurovision final in the public vote. It was Justin's first live performance since leaving The Darkness.

Beverlei Brown also provided some backing vocals on Hot Leg's 'Red Light Fever'.

Def Leppard - Yeah!Hell Raiser: Def Leppard - 'Yeah!'

In 2006 Def Leppard released an album of covers, featuring Sweet's classic 'Hell Raiser' - Justin Hawkins provided backing vocals and a short section on a verse.

Def Leppard are held as one of the best Classic Rock acts to come out of the UK and are one of the most successful. The Darkness supported Def Leppard in early 2003.

 

The Wildhearts ...Must Be Destroyed!Get Your Groove On & Only Love: The Wildhearts - '...Must Be Destroyed!'

The Wildhearts released the album '...Must Be Destroyed' in 2003, Justin Hawkins gives the track 'Get Your Groove On' some high-pitched amazing backing vocals and also backs 'Only Love' on what is considered one of the best Wildhearts albums in existance. Andy Cairns (Therapy?) introduces 'Get Your Groove On'.

The Wildhearts also supported The Darkness during their early American tour in 2003/4.
